Top Corner is a small Derbyshire studio for high-end entertainment spaces: cinema rooms, golf simulators, bars, games rooms, garden buildings. Whatever the room, the brief is the same: do it properly.
I've been drawing rooms since I was a child, sketching out how I wanted my own space and at eighteen turning my bedroom into a working pub. That instinct never really left.
My career started on the technology side: whole-home automation, the wiring and the kit. But it was the design that pulled me in. Working in that world, I kept seeing the same gap in luxury cinema rooms: brilliant technology dropped into interiors that didn't do it justice. And I saw how much it mattered to be able to show a client their finished room before a single tool was lifted. That's why I went deep on 3D design and rendering.
In 2015 I set up my own studio, focused purely on cinema rooms — designing for our own projects and for other cinema companies. A move to Derbyshire brought Roger in to build what I was drawing, and Top Corner is where it all comes together. It goes beyond cinema into any space made for enjoying: bars, golf simulators, games rooms, garden buildings. Any fun space, for a client who wants it at the level we work to.
Nothing here is off the shelf. Every room starts with the design, not the kit.
Made in our Derbyshire workshop: our bespoke upholstered acoustic panels, limed oak cabinetry, fine upholstery. The panels are a specialism, designed and built entirely in-house.
Top Corner is deliberately small, so the person who designs your room is the person who sees it through. Behind the studio sits a workshop of in-house makers and a settled team of trusted specialists and suppliers, kept as local as we can.

Roger heads up production and the workshop, where our joinery and cabinetry are built and finished in-house. The craftsman who takes on the maddest designs, with the patience and care to bring them to their full potential, exactly as they were first imagined.
